For a moment, this really pissed me off. However, under the -assumption- that they include all Americans, including the unemployed, and in combination with http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/politics/2009/10/02/shapiro.unemployment.bd.cnn.html it doesn’t bother me quite as badly. Percentage-wise, though, shouldn’t we be a little concerned and bothered that 5% of our fellow countrymen pay for over 60% of our government, infrastructure, and social programs?

This is one of several domains I’ve held fairly idle, with the exception of e-mail, for some time.  I hope to develop this into a pseudo-filtered “life feed” with some bidirectional integrations.  We shall see how well that works.

One of the most interesting details in this is that fewer are supporting more. I’m not surprised at all by this, but I do wish I had the source of the statistical data behind it.
